Retaining Wall
We offer 3 options:
Versa- Lok
Redi- Rock
Poured Concrete
Whether you’re looking for a 2-foot wall or a 12-foot wall on the lake, Steel and Concrete Professionals can help.
When designing any retaining walls, it is important to consider proper materials, soil, and drainage design. Poor drainage is the MOST common reason for why retaining walls fail. Improper installation can also be a huge factor in a weak and unstable walls. Cutting corners during the construction process may save money upfront, but it can lead to costly repairs or replacements in the future.
For most of our applications, we like to utilize Versa- Lok. Due to its flexible design options for right angle, curves, and stairs, Versa- Lok is an engineered solution we prefer.
For retaining walls with water application, we recommend the Redi- Rock solution. These walls are made with a 1 ton block of 4,000 PSI concrete and are known to perform well, even in submerged conditions in both fresh and salt water.
For faster installation, a poured concrete retaining wall is also a great and durable option. Since it’s not as labor intensive as individually stacking each Versa-Lok or Redi- Rock block, a poured concrete retaining wall project will usually take less time to build.
